The sampler consists of the following components:

• A telescopic rod made of aluminium . Length is variable, 1-3 m. Greater lengths are available if desired.
• On the lower end of the rod, a protective basket of stainless steel (A4, Material 1.4571) to hold the sample bottle.
• In the basket, a "glass" sample bottle, made of DURAN, with GL 45 standard threads and a volume of 1 Litre or 2 Litres.
• The bottle is equipped with a polypropylene valve attached by a wire to the release handle on the upper end of the telescopic rod.

Function:

The closed sample bottle is lowered to the desired depth with the telescopic rod. With the release handle the valve is opened and the bottle fills slowly. If desired, the valve can be closed when sampling is completed.
